This type of thing did not exist 20 years ago. You got your ticket, you got your big gulp, and your popcorn and that was it. I see the end of the theater experience.
It didn't exist even 10 years ago, but the Wokism and Covid-induced decline in quality and attendance forced cinemas to find a new way to shake money out of the chuds with $20 "collectable" plastic junk. Then it became $30, then $40, then $50 ... the Funko-collecting incels kept paying more and more for worthless plastic junk and now cinemas make more money from these "collectables" than they do from ticket sales.
One thing you guys don't seem to understand is that people are absolutely loaded with money. I make $100 cash per hour on some jobs just doing shit like climbing ladders or fixing roof leaks or landscaping
People with new cars, car payments house payments have lots of extra money to blow on other shit.
I think people are taking on thousands in benefits, disabilities, huge government salaries, stock market, etc
It's the K economy. You're either broke or you're loaded
It just proves the fiat dollars are everywhere. They've printed so much fake money that people are loaded with it until they realize it's not really valuable. In the meantime the money printer goes brrrrr and you're either getting it easy or working two jobs just to stay afloat.
Ok, now I understand what it is now that the popcorn is in it. I’m stil like WTF though. The popcorn in and of itself is a Trojan horse just like all goyslop. Lmfao.

Yeah, but it literally only holds a handful of popcorn. These clowns are paying $70 for an ugly plastic horse to commemorate a shitty movie. This is why corporations don't give us any breaks. This is why govt's don't lower taxes. Because while people bitch and whine about how expensive everything is, they somehow find the money to run out and buy $70 plastic popcorn holders, $700 iPhones, and buy $1,200 GPUs and all the other over-priced junk they put out there.
