It's been a long time since I've seen an IBM logo on anything.

this has little to do with pajeets and everything to do with AI.

IBM never should have even lasted this long, basically a slow lumbering behemoth of legacy enterprise software development consulting and patent portfolios. software development right now is in freefall as AI already beats junior developers and most mid level developers. and software development paradigms are now changing so fast with AI that before that patent is even published (nevermind issued), virtually all of them are already obsolete and unused.

it's not even like no one called this. the put options have been nasty on all these software companies.

like look at salesforce... and hubspot is even worse, as their entire model relied on content marketing that dominated google, and search traffic is in freefall.

the bigger thing is that this is just the first wave. the big tidal wave is still coming. the first wave is businesses bringing it in-house. the second wave is that the way far too many people are thinking about it now ("build last year's tech for cheaper") won't even exist in a few years.
