Here's the million dollar question, though: what are the Americans going to bomb?

Iran has been planning for this eventuality for decades. They saw Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc and they know the American playbook. It seems to me that they skipped the part where the regional military force is eradicated by the coalition of global super-powers and just went straight to the guerilla war, which the Americans always lose.

For example, the Iranian navy, airforce, and supreme leader were destroyed almost immediately, but that hasn't seemed to have had any impact on their ability to strike their opponents *or* to control territory. It's almost as though they left these things exposed on purpose in order to test the American capabilities, knowing full well that they would only lose aging infrastructure that would never be able to hold up against American technology in a straight fight anyway.

What *is* effective? $6000 drones that are brought in over land the Americans don't control, which do not need to be stockpiled at specific facilities, and can be launched from literally anywhere. I don't know much about their missile systems, but they seem to be either embedded in bunkers in the mountains which are incredibly hard to take out or on the backs of trucks, distributed around the country, meaning each of these American missiles can take out *one* Iranian launcher, at best.

So, what is he actually going to strike?

More than likely, infrastructure and civilian population centers. Which will, of course, not only be a war crime but cause massive damage to both the neighbouring countries (if they hit the nuclear planta) as well as the global economy (if they hit the oil infrastructure).

He's deploying his own, personal, Sampson Option; if he gets taken out, he's going to try to flip the entire table before he goes.
