Yeah, they had pretty good understandibg of the situation on the ground.
I find the idea that there's just nothing the US can do to hurt Iran interesting. They already destroyed the navy and airforce, effectively, but that doesn't even matter because Iran can control the Straight with $6000 drones and ICMBs, which they can't wipe out en masse. They can blockade the Straight but Iran is openly trading with every country in the region over land. They can't even fuck with their monetary supply.
So all Iran has to do is survive, while the Americans bankrupt their economy and reputation with every reprisal.
It's a fascinating war: especially because iran has already bombed every US military based and forced them to be abandoned.
Iran has driven the US out of the middle east in a way that the US will never be able to rebuild primarily because of the cost but also because even the ZOG arab nations know they'll get a face full of hypersonic missiles if they ever bend over for USZOG again and iran will also, one way or another, replace the arabZOG with legitimate leaders.
Iran has cleaned the USZOG and israeli clocks.
This makes for dangerous times because israel would happily destroy our economy out of spite just to harm a handful of persians.
Israel would similarly use nukes out of rage because they totally failed.
Also mossad false-flag terrorist attacks on our home soil and perhaps the UK.
Either way, I don't care providing israel dies screaming under a holocaust of iranian missiles.
