No, they don't necessarily turn into degenerates. Genetics play a huge role.
But arguably, if you found a woman with good genetics, she'd make a good wife. Therefore, there's a solid argument to work on improving yourself as a man, don't worry about women and if you happen to find a good one great, but if you don't on well. Don't worry about it.
