The worst excuse I've heard is the "anti-suffering" excuse. "I don't want to cause another being to suffer, so I'm not having kids because it's guaranteed they will suffer."
A.) As if suffering is an evil in and of itself and can never lead to anything good (it's not, of course).
B.) I suffer from nausea every time I hear that sickeningly-stupid excuse. So with their worldview, the best course to ensure more people don't suffer at their hands is to off themselves immediately.
But they never do. Because it's bullshit they don't believe, or they're too fucking stupid to think 1 step ahead.
Their argument is, unironically, "kill yourself and leave me your stuff".
