Changing major plot points should be grounds for the author to sue to keep their IP *and* whatever money they gained from the sale or licensing of the IP.

Additionally the producers/distributors should not be able to claim any association with the original work, including title and character names.

That's a failure of the author to properly negotiate terms. That could have easily been taken care of by a "do not modify" clause in the contract.

You've got to lock these kikes down.
