I figured he'd just excommunicate the newly consecrated bishops, but he excommunicated all the clergy and essentially all the laity (going to an SSPX mass gets you excommunicated).

This is the same "Pope" who invited the female "bishop" of Canterbury to the Vatican, prays with Muslims, and wants the West to open its borders to the non-Christian hordes. Apparently consorting with demon worshippers is okay, but supporting the Traditional Latin Mass is bad.

Jesus warns us repeatedly against false shepherds and hirelings. I think it's obvious at this point that this "Pope" is one of those. He doesn't worship God, but rather Satan and wants to drag as many souls down to Hell with him as he can.

(I call him a homosexual because most of the "progressive" clergy of his era went to seminaries that were gayer than San Franciso.)

My understanding of the situation is that SSPX members were automatically excommunicated for consecrating bishops without permission. They broke the rules. No one decided to excommunicate them; they excommunicated themselves by doing something they did not have the authority to do, and the Vatican's statement on the matter pretty much says the same thing. Whether you oppose Vatican II or support the Latin Mass is irrelevant. The problem is that SSPX claims to be Roman Catholic, which entails being subject to the authority of the Pope, but they deliberately acted against the Vatican by consecrating bishops without permission.
