It's literally still happening. Mall takeovers, street takeovers, beach takeovers, and now they're showing up randomly in the suburbs.

Carnival Cruises had to implement a shit load of new rules just to keep these ferals from completely destroying their business model. Bluetooth speaker bans, curfews for minors, smoking fines, bans on handheld fans (can't even trust them with those apparently).

Of course, it's "racism" to notice any patterns about which groups need such strict oversight and have no issue with ruining the experience for anyone around them.
