Meh. Plastic straws are bad because microplastics, not just pollution (I am aware that paper straws also contain plastic, ironically, but I'm not opposed to the concept itself of getting rid of them). But anyways, plastic straws barely matter for the environment. Neither do your cars burning gas and diesel. Nor does almost anything you do individually in your personal life, *especially* Europeans, who are less wasteful in general. The carbon footprint is a load of shit placed on you to feel guilty for what heavy industry operating out of 3rd world countries with 0 regulation, and/or subhumans do.
