This reference: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/76232690/otto_don-marine_carter says he was born in 1887 and only lived to be 78, but it has a link to an article that says he's 107.
There's a reddit thread with a comment suggesting one of his sons is the one born in 1887, so that's where the mixup is: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1dbshao/otto_carter_was_a_professional_roller_skater_his/
From the interview clip above, he would have been 20 years old in 1876 when his first child was born, and it's certainly possible that at least one of them was also named Otto.
