You can't work on them yourself, it's literally impossible. Lithium ion batteries drain by their nature. They're unsafe as shit, they accelerate at mach-fuck and weigh a solid half ton more than an ICE car the same size. Accidentally put it in drive instead of reverse because it uses a fucking *screen* to select "gears"? Too damned bad for the kid crossing in front of you because your dumbass giant electric SUV (which you will be paying off for the rest of eternity but wont be worth shit on the bottom of your shoe in a year) accelerates like a mig-25. Sure let's give some dumbass kid or some boomer whose last car was a 2004 renault megane a 300 hp vehicle and expect nothing to go wrong.
