Some people come by the counter-culture honestly (critical analysis and self reflection), some people are just addicted to being counter-culture (contrarian by nature) and will post obvious L takes simply because it's counter to whatever narrative. Flat Earthers, Fake-Spacers, Fake-Nukers, etc... You see it all the time around here and Voat.

Then there's the purity spiral that lands people here as well. "Nick Fuentes is a faggot and a fed!" yea sure maybe, but he's waking up normies. It's like crossing a river and making fun of the stone halfway across because it's not the river bank that you want to be on. Nuanced takes and context are completely lost on some people.

While I strongly believe that it's only through exclusion that inclusion becomes a virtue (so inclusion is a derived virtue), exclusion can become an idol/grotesque as well that leads to total isolation.
