Parable of the Wheat and Tares ( in Matthew 13:24, explained by Jesus Himself in Matthew 13:36 )
All is according to His plan. The world is doomed to be full of evil, regardless of what we try to do, so unless you were directly called by Him to take actions, follow His Words and teachings instead of reacting emotionally.
The problem with this, depending on who you ask, is that is condemns the actions of people like the Scottish lad who just attacked those migrants. God didn't give him an "official" station to do that, therefore it is theologically considered anarchic violence and damnable if he doesn't repent.
The diehard doctrinal commitment to proactive violence only being acceptable through "the official channels" is the biggest reason Christianity can't save us unless we specifically get another political hero like Hitler.
