Hubris, him not accepting that the destruction of their second Temple was God's Prophecied Judgment. He's vainly trying to proclaim destruction, but he's powerless.
Yet you disobey the clear teaching of Scripture, foolishly thinking this means God has cast off Israel, when He tells us countless times He hasn't, and won't. Your thinking on this is also hubris, it's just *your* type of hubris instead of his.

St. Paul said about the jews on 1 Th 2:15 DRC “Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and the prophets, and have persecuted us, and please not God, and are adversaries to all men;”
