So close to recognizing that cities are, and always have been, labor prisons.

The inmates actually think they can take control one day.

It's touching and tragic. Such pure gentle souls, begging for their own annihilation.

People chose cities because it's harder to live outside of them. This has been true for the entire time cities have existed.

They're only "labour prisons" in that something is expected from you in return for all the protection and conveniences. You can leave any time.
