It seems to be an assumption of the Catholic Church (and most churches) that I find to be very odd. Clearly there are things we consider human that are *incapable* of feeling empathy or deep contemplation of existence, morality, or anything that would indicate the presence of a soul; a spark of the divine. Like, they can't even really be said to be evil anymore than a pitbull that mauls a child is "evil." It's just living by pure mortal instinct - there is no immortal soul involved, no moral calculation, no consciousness deeper than the flesh.

Maybe one day we'll find a way to give evidence, but right now all we seem to have is sort of anti-evidence... that is, [absence of evidence where evidence would be expected](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F6rFBxoav0) from a purely-materialistic worldview.

But then, trying to prove the existence of the immaterial through a material lens does at least sound difficult.

It's not incompetence with the "MAGA" style parties. They know what they're doing, they're just lying about it. Corporate lobbying is a big deal in electing these people, and those corporations make a lot of money by paying migrant workers under the table. It's a huge issue in Europe, this was actually the reason that 500,000 illegals were granted amnesty in spain recently. I disagree with the move because, well, just fucking deport them. But its misconstrued by our media. They were already here, but entirely unaccounted for, and now they can't be hired under the table anymore, so they have to pay taxes etc.

But these right wing demagogues preying on the knowledge and sensitivity of their targeted demographics aren't going to fo shit to take away such a huge profit margin for their donors. Hence this problem will never be dealt with by them. Yet people will continue to vote for them anyways. Well, thankfully Europeans have a shorter leash than Americans, so things could theoretically change. I just hope my countrymen aren't fucking stupid enough to vote in VOX. The one thing we have in spain is that there's no Israel lobby in the government. A VOX government means an Italian level migrant crisis that you don't hear about because the government will lie about it, plus trump/millei levels of netanyahu cock sucking. I will crawl naked through 1000 miles of broken glass, razorblades, and sandpaper, if it meant a vote that I cast stops the jew worshipping shabbos goy faggot Abascal from being PM. Yes, I unironically vote PSOE in parliamentary elections. Even though I fucking hate them too, but as I said, better the devil you know than the devil you don't, and the PSOE are the only people offering up a half decent foreign policy right now that isn't entirely beholden to pissrael. I hate these political movements in particular with a disproportionately high level of vitriol. The left-wing populists aren't lying to you. They say exactly what they're gonna do and then they do it. Simple enough. You know what to expect. Establishment politicians are likewise predictable. They'll lie, but they'll never say anything bombastic or interesting. But right wing parties? They bring up actual issues, say they will fix them, and never fail in doing the exact opposite of everything they said, and then shitting up the entire country and somehow making it 10x worse than even leftists could leave it.
