The frequent grocery shopper (2-4 times a week) = Hunter-gatherer man. Likely high T, not simp-like, very adaptable to his environment. Likes his grocery food fresh just like if he was killing an animal for a fresh meal.

The once a week grocery shopper = Hunter-gatherer in transition man. Average T, somewhat simp-like, somewhat adaptable to his environment. Likes some of his food fresh but freezes some things and doesn't mind trading convenience for freshness.

The once a month mega grocery shopper = The women and domesticated men. These are the types to freeze everything, including bread, because they want to frequent the grocery store as little as possible. They say it's to save money at Costco but it's really because they feel the need to be incredibly stocked up on food because they aren't a hunter-gatherer. This is the female-coded style of grocery shopping. Men who shop like this have given over control of the food to their woman or they have low T, are simpy and somewhat like a woman themselves.

Great so you are probably a busy working man. Try planning out your meals at the start or end of the week. Then do 1 or 2 trips to the grocery store. Just try it out one time I'm telling you you'll notice how much more relaxed and focused you are.

No, I got laid off two months ago and haven't found a new job yet so I'm back to teenager posting, obviously.

I actually made this topic in jest because a gay friend of mine always criticizes me for the fact that I never have more than 3 days worth of food at home and hit up the grocery store so often. I noticed to that all the women in my life are big food stalkers. The most bachelor single men I know barely have any good in their house. My friend has months worth of food on the go but I'd argue my food is always better tasting than his.

When I was working, the grocery store was on the way home from work and I never had issues stopping for 10 minutes to pickup what I wanted.

Awful? I think this was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It took me 6 weeks of not working but eventually, I had a great mental shift and I feel way better than when I was working. I was putting up with a lot of shit in the corporate world and it was weighing on me but I didn't realize because I wasn't removed from the situation for so long. I'm doing way better now that I haven't been working for a while so I'm glad I got laid off.

I'm in finance. I'm in Canada not the USA and we're in a recession now. Finance tends to follow the total economy.
