There is significant migration to northern europe from southern and eastern Europe because of the job situation here. However, the situation now is reversing itself and southern european economies are fully recovering from the 2008 recession, eastern European economies have finally recovered since 1991, and nordic and central European economies are stagnating after covid. I don't see this trend continuing forever because I don't see salaries up north being much better than the south in the coming years.
