Reminds me of when I was about five and me and my parents went to Knotsberry Farm. I remember think that $7 was a lot to pay for a ticket to get in. I told them that seem like "many dollars". My mom said, "It used to be free to come here when I was a kid. But when I graduated school, I they started charging a dollar to keep out the riff-raff".
I asked, "What's riff-raff?"
My dad piped up, "That's your mom's polite way of saying niggers".
