Remember, the official (from LLM) stance is that the actual flu got completely eradicated in 2020 (which we had since... forever?) because people were oh-so eager to do all the oh-so effective measures against Covid.
Like wearing WORTHLESS cloth masks (the viruses were smaller than its holes), "social distancing rituals" (basically just fucked small restaurants and businesses, ultimately people still needed groceries to survive and went to car mechanics) and regular testing (NOT FOR THE FLU), and vaccines (came out late 2020 or so, and also lol).
AND, to top it off - this happened BEFORE ANY OF THAT WAS DONE, around 2020 March.
So the official explanation is blatant, obvious, undeniable bullshit. The same people who peddle that bullshit are the same who told us everything else about Covid. Why should we trust literal idiots and grifters about anything? And with "us" I refer to our brainrotten governments.
Yes to everything you said but I just can't get my head around how normies conceptualise the situation. Like, do they think Covid is no longer dangerous? Why? Do they think they have protection? Why? Do they think the government did a good job? Why?
