>Truth is independent of my mind.

But it isn't in the way this priest is misrepresenting the term.

Breathlessly banging your hand against a wall doesn't prove it's wood, even if you believe it is.

Scientology proves that humans are fallible.

It's likely this priest doesn't know the difference between hardwood and laminex, fancy vinyl, acoustic paneling, microcement, resin or a grass based bamboo composite unless he's also a carpenter.

I'm a faithful Christian, but I can't agree with this argument because faith is the foundation of Christianity and no Christian can prove the existence of God.

And we don't need to because they have faith.

Christianity is a life-long journey of open minded study and discovery.

I believe any Christian who holds a bible and claims to know it all and how to interpret it all perfectly is as mistaken as the priest in the video.

I believe facts and proof (i.e. truth) undermines the core principals of Christianity by turning it from a religion into a transaction for rewards.

The only debate to be had from his argument is in his misrepresentation of truth to mean fact. Truth can be argued to be subjective but facts are objective. Just because someone believes something is true, doesn't make it so.

Sorry, no sale.

I will remain humble and open minded in my faith.

>and no Christian can prove the existence of God

God has been proven over and over and over and over again with infinity evidence through science, history and anthropology, including the resurrection of Christ, but you still don't see it because jews told you otherwise

Show me your best objective proof please.

To be clear, for the sake of this debate, I'm not interested in conflating yours strong subjective beliefs that you read in a book, saw in a film, feel in your heart or saw in a vision with objective facts.

I'll give you one chance to present your best objective proof of the Christian God, so choose carefully and be mindful that words have meanings and evidence is not proof.

How does that old shroud prove the Christian God is real, specifically?

This will be the last time I chase you for an answer.

Literally proves the resurrection of Jesus Christ and thus the almost entire Bible's events be completely valid and perfectly credible.

Except he didnt say anything. He provided no points to prove the existence of god from a point of reason. He said truth is outside of my mind, but provided no evidence of any truth to expand upon that. He just declares it, which is belief, which is faith.

It's the opposite: God has been proven infinity times with evidence. Jews have claimed otherwise while presenting no evidence, but everyone just believed them anyway without burden of proof. Same thing about holocaust, viruses and more.

Im not saying there is or isnt proof. Im saying *he didnt provide any*.

*He doesn't have to.* It is the normal understanding as it has already been proven. The burden of proof is on those who make the claim. The claim isn't "God is real." The claim is "God isn't real" and jews never provided the burden of proof yet everyone fell for it anyway through repetition. Also, Shroud of Turin.

The onus falls on you to provide proof wheb your entire rhetoric is "god isnt a matter of faith but of reason and I will show you why" and then dont procede to do what you said. You are tryibg to argue that there *is* proof that god exists. That isnt the discussion. Idc if there is or isnt proof etc. This isnt about if god is real. This is about his argument having no actual substance applied to it.

No, it doesn't. Just because jews convinced you otherwise doesn't make them de facto. It's literally no different than holocaust or germ theory. Until you accept this fact, you will always be wrong.
