I'll admit I was crushed when Massie lost. I knew it was likely, but it still hurt more than I expected.

I initially didn't understand why he was so joyful during his defeat speech.

I watched it again and realized Massie is running for President in 2028.

Massie's defeat is perfect for his Presidential run.

Massie also has seven months left in Congress to get his AlPAC bill passed to force registration as a foreign lobby group.

I hadn't considered any of this, but in this case I think it's fantastic for Massie.
