I think the solution here is to refer to them as "Holocaust survivors" ... with the quotation marks.

Do Shaivites believe in Shiva or "Shiva"?

Quotes would introduce ambiguity about if the Palestinians sincerely believed in the holocaust, which was not my intention.

Instead, I expressed what I wanted to, with or without your permission or approval.

Prof_Chaos is correct in this instance. This is to cut down on confusion and prevent infighting from misunderstandings.

Because the sentence subject is Palestinians, introducing quotes around "holocaust survivors" implies the Palestinians didn't believe they were holocaust survivors, which is false.

The Palestinians were sincere in their motivations.

This is basic grammar.

I won't participate in gang-raping my language into nigger-babble because NoRefunds2 and Prof_Chaos are confused by elementary school level reading comprehension.

This is a semantics argument.

Yes, or call them holocaust grifters.
