Apparently, Mariah's mom and sister died on the exact same day, in August of 2024. According to (((Google))), Mariah's sister was in hospice care due to "organ failure", due possibly to liver cancer, substance abuse, and a previous brain injury. The cause of death of the mom wasn't disclosed, which is weird. To make it stranger, Mariah's sister got that brain injury after a home invasion in 2015 (perhaps a Manson occult-like murder attempt?).
Given how curated Google, Hollywood, and music news is, all of the official news on this is highly suspect. Even the cause of death is questionable, given there's lots of examples of coroners being bought out and giving false testimony.
