The truth is that deflation and falling population (amd thus consumer spending) are indeed disastrous for "the economy". But this is only an issue because our "economy" is completely built on the ponzi scheme that is fractional reserve banking and debt-based currency. The system WILL implode if number-on-graph-goes-down. But who does this system serve in the long run?
