On the one hand psychedelics don't cause addiction and can help with brain damage but why is there this push for them from the (((government)))?

Are they? From what I have seen, pharmaceutical companies have generally pushed *against* psychedelics, because they cannot patent mushrooms, and this would eat into their profits from antidepressants and anxiolytics. Conversely, some of these companies are pushing hard for MDMA (an empathogen), because all of the red tape surrounding it makes it expensive and lucrative.
A few years ago, an MDMA trial supposedly showed a white supremacist the errors of his ways; I wrote on a psych subreddit that I believed the story was bullshit, and the author of the BBC article on a book on MDMA and love found the post and got pretty pissed. Interestingly, she told me that if she didn't have integrity, then she never could have become a journalist. I told her point-blank that this was an absurd statement to make, and that she was either incredibly stupid or thought that I was. I maintain that the story was bullshit, and I called her out years before I ever really started noticing all of the hate that straight white men get in the US.
MDMA is addictive, while psychedelics are in some sense anti-addictive (i.e. they do not physically harm you, and you have neither the desire nor the ability to take them shortly after your trip ends). I believe MDMA is largely a farce when it comes to helping people, although we've seen a number of corporations claim relatively recently that it can treat PTSD. So, if anything, the globalists might be pushing for MDMA, but I personally think that psychedelics are in some sense their enemy.
One more related thing while I'm here: I like talking about how HIV does not cause AIDS, because it is a fascinating rabbit hole, and I still can't believe the globalist ghouls have convincingly lied to so many people for so many years. The truth is that gay men were destroying their immune systems from rampant casual sex leading to STDs and antibiotics, sleep deprivation from partying all night, and taking drugs that made them have sex more easily. The most prominent of these drugs were poppers aka amyl nitrates, which make anal sex less painful. However, it is worth noting that MDMA also destroys the immune system. So, in line with globohomo wanting to shame white people for recognizing patterns and saying that MDMA can fix this, they also push the homo part with this drug.
Consuming shitloads of cytotoxic and hepatotoxic drugs has a higher correlation and an actual causative relationship with AIDS than sex. Not that gay sex (or any casual sex) is good. They used it as justification for more pharmaceuticals
