the biggest part of the hoax is that even if it is real, the UN (which runs the IPCC) uses what's called the stock-change rule. this is not a scientific principle, but an accounting principle that was banned a century ago as financial fraud.
one major byproduct of this is that it makes it impossible for any technological solution to achieve any sort of climate target. you could invent a super-machine that turns atmospheric CO2 into diamonds at net CO2 loss, and their formula would say global warming is still going up, because under that accounting fraud, the number can ONLY go up. it fraudulently guarantees that the only solution is ever more regulation.
