This is the greatest sin of the Boomers.

They were raised in a tradition going back hundreds, if not thousands of years, and they voluntarily gave it up (while personally reaping all it's benefits). Boomers may have been "raised by TV", but they also almost *all* went to church as children as well. They are the generation that intentionally gave that up for their kids, not the Millenials.

The Boomers had the choice between Mike Brady and Jesus Chirst and chose the former. Millenials had the choice between Kurt Cobain and nothing and chose the former.

This. Millenials set back and watch deadbeat, amoral GenX and a boomers browbeat them for being the product of their parentless environment and are shocked at the consequences.
