Hitler's mistakes came later. For example, acting against the advice of his generals, he let the Brits escape Dunkirk, which preserved their strength. Churchill never reciprocated this act of mercy.
Hitler stayed the hands of his generals on multiple occasions. This cost Germany the war. They could have won, but they would have needed to fight the war of conquest the jewish media accused them of fighting, instead of the defensive war they were actually fighting. Even with Hitler's limits, they almost did win the war.
