Nuclear deterrents still make a huge difference with all of Israel's allies. It changes every aspect of war planning.
It's complicated because Iran has all of it's military assets deep underground, protected from nukes. Nuking Tehran will only give Iran nothing to lose as they target all civilian infrastructure of US allies and Israel.
