I have a modified bike trailer that I used to use all the time when the kids were little, excellent for errands and the big wheels go over rough terrain like nothing. I'd considered it for camping but I don't have as much space in the car.

Aside from moving children, it's also handy just to store stuff when you're out. I used to pull up to the park with a full complement of toys and could run around with the kids without worrying that someone would steal it, like I would with a backpack.
