I agree, you should remain active, but neither men, nor women need a gym for that. Women don’t even need heavy weights at all. All body weight movements is plenty enough for the overwhelming majority of them. Don’t get me wrong, strength training into the lower rep ranges can be great for everyone, but it’s not necessary for women IMHO.
