I was saying this a few weeks ago; women treat *all* interactions as personal. That's what she's doing here; putting energy into work because it will eventually benefit her personal relationship with her work crush.

A man does the job out of a sense of duty or professionalism or even pride because there are *many* ways men can interact. If women can't gamify their lives/jobs to make it about personal relationships, they just don't engage.

true. also, never forget the iron rule of women: women seek male attention in all things and this drives all things they do.

it's not even about sex necessarily with them (don't project your male instincts onto them), it's about attention from what she considers desirable males. with women this is a weird combination of social status signaling and satisfying a core, base lizard-brain instinct.

And maybe that's the core personal relationship that drives them? Maybe they don't even care about *all* personal relationships, just the personal relationship with the male whose attention she desires?

Funny, I always did it because if I didn't I'd starve and freeze and die, and if I did I'd only *want* to die.

Lol, yep that's a another reason men do it. Women find someone to take care of them in exchange for intimacy; another personal relationship.
