This is where it gets nuanced. One was developed during the cold war. Russia allegedly built one too.

A Bare W54 special atomic munitions warhead ( roughly a cylinder 11 inches (28 cm) diameter × 16 inches (41 cm) long, weighing about 51 pounds (23 kg)). It was considered a backpack nuke.

Though obviously very low yield and have been "retired".

That's patently false lol. Plenty of pictures of the SADM in its carry bag, the bare W54 warhead, and U.S. soldiers practicing with them and jumping out of planes with it are widely available in defense archives and the Smithsonian. There's solider testimonials talking about their training with it and how it would be a suicide mission to use it. It was also used in the Davey Crockett rifle system. The Brookings institute cataloged the production and cost numbers.
