I feel that. Moved into a fairly new neighborhood by the edge of a city eight years ago. Would take six mile round-trip walks from home; four of those miles looked like a rural town complete with farm animals. The main street I lived off didn't have much traffic even at rush hour.

Now the six mile walk is like an unguided tour of the city's new apartment complexes. You know it's rush hour when you hear horns honking because the intersections weren't designed for the heavy traffic. When I log into nextdoor my feed will either read "Maria Rodriguez" or "Ori Iaqwijriojjwefki" has joined.
