So, this exposes a fundamental flaw in protestantism. Thankfully, catholicism and orthodoxy is immune to this flaw, so there is a hope for a cure. (But they have another flaw -- see the end)
The flaw is that protestants read the Bible and think, "Oh, this is God's word, therefore it must be infallible and inerrant! Even a child could read this and understand everything about everything!"
Some even go so far as seeing "The Word was God" as "Jesus is literally the Bible and we should worship a book!"
Folks, I'm going to drop some massive facts about the Bible. If you worship the Bible (or any book -- you muslims) you should pay attention.
Suppose, for a moment, that God did reveal the Bible as one text through supernatural means. Like, suddenly, he dropped the Bible from the sky on perfect gold parchment or whatever.
Now, if you want to worship a book, that's fine, but understand that you are committing idolatry, because you are worshiping something other than God. I'm pretty sure most people understand why worshiping something other than God can lead to problems, but for those of you who are pretty stupid (probably raping goats or something) the key fact is that you're worshipping something that isn't alive and has no power to do anything except sit there doing nothing.
Suppose you decide to actually read the book. Are you, with a flawed, mortal mind, able to comprehend the book? Of course not. It would require someone like God to even understand what the book says. Since you are not God, well, the book isn't going to be a source of information for you.
Since you couldn't understand even a perfect book, then what point could the book possibly serve?
Either the book connects you to God, and God reveals, directly to YOU, the truth, or it points to some other earthly authority as the sole arbiter of truth. If it points to some other earthly authority -- well, we get back to the problem of worshiping things that are not God and cannot save you.
The KEY POINT here should be obvious to everyone: if the Bible (or any book) is going to do anything at all, it needs to connect you directly to God. And once you are connected to God, HE can tell you what you need to know, what you need to do, etc...
So stop relying on other people to tell you what to do, connect with God directly, through the Bible, through whatever authority structures that are conducive to that, whatever it takes, and let's stop being stupid about things, ok?

It's not God's fault that they repeatedly turned away from Him and as a punishment the land was taken away from them.
Despensationalists and Zionist completely ignore that, that promises had already been fulfilled, and that it was fulfilled in 1948 instead.
God did not give them that land in 1948. The UN gave them that land.
