The problem is that only D or R wins. So opposing R means the Ds get the win. And they're speed running the eradication of whites. Republicans winning gives us much, much more time to win. And they don't actively want to eliminate whites (in general), they just allow leftist ideology to affect their actions. If Republicans had more support, there would be more room to push the Overton window further right. As long as they're begging for support, they will do a bunch of centrist bullshit to capture the moderate vote.

The reason the left has been able to push the Overton window so far left is because they have enough support to do it.
