It makes total sense. Isntrael is exactly what the Nazis are depicted as in Hollywood and our history books: The chosen master race, hyper nationalistic, invading and conquering their neighboring nations, committing genocide, fucked up prison practices, raping and bombing etc

During covid I would call those who enforced mask mandates "mask Nazis", even though I was based back then. Its a word that means what it means today, doesn't matter what the truth is. Its a word in our language that has a specific meaning and people can and should use their entire vocabulary as needed.

Also "nazi" is a derogatory term and it always was. Its the N word for white people. If you want to refer to the national socialists as they were in true history, use the term "national socialists".
