You ignore the fact that originally we had no downvote function, because downvote brigades were foreseeable. They became extreme since the election, yet we still don't know if this change was an admin decision or just a bug. We're told a few things about Doggos working on fixing it, but it's unlike him to have difficulty with maintenance.
