The part where Kyle might get confused is that the Old Testament came from the jews, and so he might think that judaism is the source of Christianity.
What Kyle really needs to understand is that judaism did not exist in the first century. The religion that the pharisees and sadducees and people in the province of Judea were following has nothing to do with judaism.
The people living in Judea who converted to Christ, along with the Romans and Greeks in the surrounding areas, never once understood that there was a separate religion that followed the Old Testament. They saw themselves as the fulfilment of the Old Testament, and so everyone who was faithful to the Old Testament should be a follower of Christ.
In fact, when Jesus came to Jerusalem before he was crucified, he was welcomed as a king and a messiah to the people. The Romans would've gladly made him king of Judea had he accepted the title (and Pilate tried to pressure him to do so.) Jesus not only had the divine right, but his lineage was perfect.
Thus, the people who rejected Christ also rejected the Old Testament.
The reason why Paul is so important is because Paul was a disciple of the greatest biblical scholar who ever lived up until that time. He explained the bible in a way that proved that Jesus was the fulfilment of ancient prophecy and the entire point of the texts. So if you were in any way a follower of the ancient texts, you would follow Paul and thus Jesus.
After the Romans destroyed Jerusalem for rebellion, they chased those who did not follow Jesus out. These people ended up in Babylon and a few hundred years later created an entire new, fake religion called judaism. See, up until then, those people understood that without the temple in Jerusalem they had no religion. Judaism was invented to explain that despite the fact that they can keep NONE of the things they were supposed to keep, they were still right with scripture.
Actually it's that Israelites/Hebrews = today's White race and jews = Edomites of Esau. So Whites were the Old Testament centered and focus, never jews. The very word "jew" is a modern mistranslation, jews never were the Israelites/Hebrews and only started calling themselves as such in 1860. No one lived in Europe/America until some of us migrated to there after Exodus, the rest after Christ's resurrection. I have sources to all of this.

It's worse than that
When you dig hard into what Islam actually is, it's a sect of Christianity based on an early heresy (that Christ was merely a prophet not a divine person).
Someone thinks they've identified the source material for much of the Koran as well -- an ancient Christian prayer book written in Aramaic.
Another way to view Islam is that it was invented long after Mohammed was supposed to have lived, as a competing, state-run religion to Christianity and judaism. As such, they took MOST of their ideas from Christianity, added some of their own, and so, yet again, it looks like a sect of Christianity.
The point is that Islam is closer to Christianity than judaism.
As bad as muslims are, jews are a thousand times worse.
Which is why I highly suspect people who bitch and moan about Islam but never mention judaism.

its funny isn't it? how the arch-enemy of Christianity (Islam was created by jews to combat the Byzantine empire and retake jewrusalem from them) has more in line with Christianity than judaism (which is just satanism but with extra steps)
There are groups and sects of muslims that you would find perfectly compatible with Christianity. In fact, they would probably be very cooperative with our end goal.
The shia and sunni are a problem, of course, but there are others who have historically not been violent towards others.
The reality is that the vast majority of religions are compatible with Christianity. It has never been "Worship Christ or else!" It has always been "Leave us in peace and we will do the same."
**THERE IS ONLY ONE RELIGION IN THE WORLD THAT TEACHES JESUS IS EVIL**
That should tell you everything you need to know about.
