Oh believe me. The first target of any radtrad crusade would be Rome itself. Trads care more about the faithless magisterium than about any sect or community that could be considered even potentially schismatic. I know trads who are cozy and comfy with sects that broke off post Vatican 1, understanding that it was used to do the exact opposite of what it said it would: curbing hyperpapalism. Meanwhile, communities like the SSPX, who have beef with V2, have had to double down against ever accelerating garbage coming out of Rome such as Amoris Laetitia and Fiducia Supplicans, casting the entire doctrine of indefectability into doubt.
We've got prophecies saying Rome's to become the seat of the antichrist, but no prophesies about how that gets fixed. It's simply "the end of the age". A lot of trad communities like to say that the church is going through her passion, appearing to die, only to be revived with new life. But as they say, Rome today, tomorrow the world. In the mean time, it's just like during the Aryan heresy: "we have the faith, but they have the buildings".
I dont think Catholics have a pope or anywhere to go to church
But the impression I get from Catholic prophecies is that this is a temporary trial or confusion and that in the End Times there will be a more conventional direct conflict with there being a clear pope
So currently we seem to live with this confusion where there appears to be no pope an an antipope of sorts in Rome; not totally sure how we end up transitioning back to things being more normal, but I think it will require more people waking up to the reality of the situation and then people collaborating to straighten things out; at present many people still seem to nlt be much aware of Vatican 2 and its apparent implications
