I lasted a sentence.
The Hagakure, or Book or the Samurai, is like a manual for being Japanese and it's hundreds of years old. They have many other seminal cultural works such as this.
The reason she "doesn't understand" what it means to be Japanese is that she doesn't *want* to be Japanese.
But she won't ever *say* that, she'll try to find someone to blame (didn't give her a proper definition) or obfuscate the problem with rhetoric until she can find an excuse to be shrill about it. Y'know, cause woman.
