I guess ultimately the question for me with boomers is what can we do as damage control to limit any more harms they might do and to fix what they broke

Also what caused the boomers and how can we prevent the slide or turn it around in future generations

That's easy to answer. It was a combination of permissive parenting and affluence.

The first part was provided by a book on child rearing by the jew Dr. Benjamin Spock (yes, that was his real name) titled "The Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care", published in 1946, the first year the boomers were born immediately after the war. It was almost like the jews were expecting a surge in White pregnancies. It was incredibly influential until the 1960s.

Spock advocated allowing your children to do what they wanted. This resulted in a generation of young people who had never been told "no" and threw temper tantrums whenever they wanted something. If you remember the 60s and 70s, you remember this behavior very well.

The second part was affluence. It was a post-war era and the country had never had it so good, and people got used to it, thinking it was their right as Americans. Parents wanted the best for their children, so combined with permissive parenting, they tended to spoil their children, giving them things rather than making them earn them. This gave their children a sense of entitlement their parents didn't have.

See? It's not that hard.

Essentially a lack of discipline; so then really is it the "Greatest Generation" who is the "Worst Generation" as they were exceptionally bad parents?

I don't see permissiveness or affluence in themselves as necessarily bad things; they are amplifiers of good or bad habits though

(A good person can use more money and freedom to build more good things; but a bad person can use the same privileges for their own self-indulgence and the harm of others)

That plus lead poisoning and a lifetime of watching talmudvision. Poor bastards' brains were cooked before most people here were even born.
