This was written by a nerd who is fantasizing about whatever. I recently had my 20th highschool reunion and the nerds were still awkward nerds, and the popular kids were largely successful. The druggies were either dead or cleaned up. The main factor in success in life or not wasn't "nerdiness" but rather intelligence. Newsflash: intelligent people can also be "popular".

Also nerds aren't always intelligent; I've known plenty that were dumb as fuck but people who mistake rote memorization skill with intelligence thought they were smart.
