I think I take a neutral stance on if this is good or bad, let me add this to the discussion (and please note that if people try this, I would advocate for some kind of Christianized version stripped of any non-Christian religious content):

> Chinese "Iron Crotch" Kung Fu (a branch of Tongbeiquan)

> Chinese Iron Crotch Kung Fu is a traditional martial arts practice from Juntun Village in Luoyang, China, specifically designed to strengthen the body's most vulnerable areas by taking repeated hits to sensitive parts like the groin. This technique, which is a specialized branch of Tongbeiquan Kung Fu practiced for over 300 years, involves using Qigong breathing methods to inure the practitioner to pain and impact.

> The most famous demonstration involves a steel-plate capped log (weighing 40 kg / 88 lbs and measuring 2 meters / 6.5 feet) swinging through the air to strike the practitioner's crotch.

> Masters like Wang Liutai claim that with sufficient practice and correct methods, the technique does not hurt and has no negative effect on fertility.

> The style is part of a broader system that also includes "Iron Throat," "Iron Head," "Iron Chest," and "Iron Back" training.

> Historically a fiercely guarded secret, the art is now at risk of extinction as the number of practitioners has dropped from around 80 to just five, prompting masters to promote it online to attract new students.

> Practitioners believe that pushing through the physical stress leads to a state where "as long as you push yourself, you will feel great."

> According to masters and traditional claims, the practice offers several specific advantages:

> Enhanced Physical Resilience: By repeatedly striking sensitive areas like the groin, head, throat, and chest, practitioners aim to build stamina and strength in these weak points, making the body less vulnerable to strikes in combat.

> Health and Vitality: Proponents, such as Grandmaster Tu Jin-Sheng, claim the art can increase energy and vitality, reduce arterial blockage, and improve male sexual health, including remedies for erectile dysfunction and increased sperm count.

> Mental Fortitude: The rigorous training is said to foster mental strength and pain tolerance, with masters stating that once one can endure a blow to the crotch, they can handle any physical challenge.

> Holistic Wellness: Some traditions suggest the practice can prevent old age, clear vision, loosen hips, and reduce allergies through improved energy flow (qi) to the nether regions.

I view it as potentially penitential probably with possible mild physical benefit. I wonder if the physical benefits are from pain endurance or something
