War is lame now that we have drones. Take any awesome heroic war story you’ve heard, then add to the end of it. “Just then a toy helicopter with an infrared camera came down and blew him up.” It totally ruins it.
Not disagreeing, but you could say the exact same thing about guns.
You just point at a guy and pull the trigger and he's dead? What ever happened to crossing blades at a distance so close you can smell the sweat of your enemy?
I feel the same way about "sport hunters." Wow cool dood you shot a prey animal that couldn't even see you from 1000 yards away with your $5000 rifle in a semi-rural neighborhood. Wake me up when you are commando dropping out of trees onto the deer's back and draining blood right then and there with your Leatherman.
