I think you two mostly agreed but still turned it into an argument lol.

I am Christian but I admit I did not like the old testament as much. Not even sure it is same God as new testament. The old testament God seems more fickle, but more vengeful. New testament seems too pacifist. Reconciling the two is extremely difficult even for experts with years of Bible study experience

I like the new testament because I do believe there is power in Jesus Christ.

I've heard lots of people dabbling with drugs and many cases of demon possession and every time, even the non Christians or the atheists or agnostics all panic and in desperation will cry out for Jesus Christ and every time the demons flee and the possession ends.

For some reason, when calling for Jesus Christ, demons flee.

You can try it. With open mind and heart just try to contact and pray to spirit of Jesus Christ and ask Jesus to cleanse you and deliver you from demons and ask for strength to conquer the sins you battle with or even the sins you don't even realize have shackled your life.

I did it and I felt immediately charged.
