I've been leaning heavily towards Oklahoma. Ok water rights and the property taxes are lower than Kansas and Texas. Texas has awesome water rights, but Kansas is like Colorado, good luck getting a well permit for any irritation

Drug use is stupid as fuck I get it... But I would live in a hillbilly White area with meth heads EVERY TIME over an urban area with "muh diverse restaurants".

Every time I visit Oklahoma it does not appear to have a meth problem, it's everywhere, no shortage at all

Irrigation? The irritation comes from asking the gov't permission to use your own land.

Not in Texas. They don't even keep track of wells. Oklahoma makes you register the well, but Kansas and Colorado make you put a meter on your well. Most wells in Kansas and Colorado are for in house use only.

Yes, that's real. Yet in Texas (especially the panhandle) nobody cares. It's all from the ogallala aquifer in eastern edge of Colorado and west Kansas. I would also be careful of wells in southern Kansas because some of that water is polluted from various sources
