The "12 day war" was tossing bibi a bone but trump still had enough common sense to know that a war with Iran is fucking stupid. Well, with further declassification of the epstein files looming over his head, almost certainly by Benjamin netanyahu (epstein was mossad after all), now he's playing ball with Israel *completely*. Plus various rumors that Israel was threatening to nuke Iran if the US didn't do anything (I can't find much information on this. Wouldn't surprise me, but take it with a grain of salt all the same).
Actually, I believe that the declassification of the files was likely done by mossad in the first place to get trump to accomplish, or at least try to accomplish, bibi's "40 year dream" of destroying Iran. First off: there's no way they would ever release them willingly without an ulterior motive. Secondly: the timeline of events is extremely suspect. Thirdly: the fact that the files that were released seem to show the sitting US president more often than anyone besides epstein himself seems suspect as blackmail. This is someone who moved with everyone, and constantly, but trump is mentioned dubiously often. Almost like they're saying "you didn't do enough last time, this is your punishment. If you don't launch an actual invasion this time, it'll be worse for you"
